What this site is
An independent comparison resource, written by the site's own editorial desk. We keep the shortlist deliberately small — six operators at present — because a file we can genuinely maintain beats a directory of two hundred entries nobody has visited since it was written. Every operator goes through the same seven checks, every licence claim is matched against the Gambling Commission's public register, and every card carries the date it was last verified.
Our reading of a casino starts with its suppliers. Game studios — who's on the shelves, who runs the live tables — explain more about how a site plays than any welcome banner, which is why the game providers guide sits at the centre of what we publish.
- Take bets, process deposits or withdrawals, or hold player funds — nothing of the kind passes through here.
- Operate games or hold a gambling licence — we review operators; we are not one.
- Manage, access or intervene in player accounts — disputes belong with the operator and its ADR provider.
- Accept payment to change a score — commission may follow a click; it never precedes a verdict.
How the site is funded
Through affiliate commission: when a visitor clicks out to an operator and registers, that operator may pay us. The model is disclosed on the homepage next to the cards it applies to, and spelled out in full in the affiliate disclosure. Commercial relationships can affect which operators appear on the shortlist; they do not move scores, and no operator sees a review before publication.
